A: You control what’s visible. BeKin offers multiple privacy levels—ranging from basic ICE info to EMS-only access with parent confirmation.

Q: Can strangers scan the tag in public and access my child's info?

A: Parents choose what information is publicly visible. You control three visibility tiers:
Tier 1: name, contacts, allergies
Tier 2: no name, no ID
Tier 3: requires parent SMS approval

Additionally, optional privacy covers and scan angle filters reduce scanning from side views. We're also exploring scan logging, so you can be alerted if a tag is scanned.

Q: How do I protect my child’s identity in public spaces like a park or store?

A: We recommend Tier 2 or 3 privacy settings in crowded public areas. These settings limit access to emergency contacts only—or lock the info entirely until approved by you.

Q: What happens to my data if BeKin shuts down or has a data breach?
